Catering Establishment Enforcement (COVID-19)

We wish to remind our members of Instructions issued by MPF on the 31/10/2020

Kindly note that following discussions with the relevant authorities, it’s been agreed that inspections in relation to catering establishment classifications and the enforcement of related regulations, including the serving of alcohol or otherwise, shall be entrusted entirely onto MTA.

Hence, our efforts in enforcing COVID-19 regulations shall focus on measures in place concerning the wearing of masks/visors and the gathering of groups of more than six (6).

If and when any reports concerning breaches of regulations within MTA’s remit reach our end, these shall be communicated on line number 21692447.
