Secretary
Neville Mercieca joined the police force in March 2000 as Constable.
He was promoted to the rank of Sergeant in June 2010 and in 2015, progressed to the rank of Inspector. He served in the 6PD, 7PD, 8PD, 9PD, Immigration and currently in the Data Protection officer within the Police Legal Office.
He was elected in the Executive Committee between 2008 and 2015 where he served as Secretary-General between 2009 and 2015.
In 2018 he was appointed Vice-President. In 2020, he took over as Secretary of the Union on full time basis and is responsible for the daily administration of the Union headquarters.
