Where is the Booster dose for Police officers?

The police are called in to assist in enforcing the
quarantine regulations and other law enforcement matters related to the pandemic, whilst still carrying their full duties. Police officers face different people, in different circumstances, sometimes to detriment of their personal wellbeing.

Several Police Officers had also to undergo quarantine, others tested positive due to contacts these had with the ‘clients’ of the Police Force who not always have considerations for the wellbeing of others.

However, after 19 months of being used in every way possible, having their leave curtailed due to Covid-19 duties, Police officers have not even been considered, at par with others and have been at least given a date for their Covid-19 Booster dose.

It has been announced that from 15 November, government will begin vaccinating healthcare workers, including pharmacists and carers in elderly homes. Teachers will also receive their booster dose during this period.

From 14 December, booster jabs will be given to those aged 60 and above. They will receive the appointment by letter, with the time and place given.
